TechGALA参加レポート 2026年1月27日〜29日

愛知・名古屋で開催された「TechGALA Japan 2026」に参加してきました。 会場はものすごい熱気。特に3日目の会場であるSTATION Aiはそのスケールに圧倒されました。

印象深かった事を挙げればキリがないですが、グローバルサウスへの関心がブームを超えて本気の実装フェーズに移行しつつあるのを感じました。

「The Global South Frontier」と「New Values in the Next Market」という2つのセッションに参加しましたが、単なる「成長市場への投資推奨」ではなく、 エコシステムが未成熟な環境での「失敗事例」や、現地特有の商習慣、そして日本企業がそこでどう価値を出せるかという、解像度の高い議論が交わされていました。

シンガポールを拠点にアジア市場を見ている身として、現場のリアリティが詰まった話には強く共感し、多くの気づきを得られました。

会場全体のピッチや展示を見ていて、やはり愛知ならではの「ものづくり」の底力はすごいです。Deep Techやハードウェアの領域で、技術と実装現場がこれほど近い距離にあるエコシステムはかなり稀有ではないかと思います。

個人的なハイライトの 1つは、「アントレプレナー・ネクストウェーブ」で登壇されたN9 Pte Ltd / JSIPのTakaさんの勇姿が見られたこと。 もう1つは、スローガン株式会社の織田さんとの再会です。織田さんは大学の先輩にあたる方で、まさかこの会場でお会いできるとは。旧交を温めつつ、刺激的な情報交換ができました。

名古屋のポテンシャルと、グローバルへの熱意を肌で感じた3日間でした。

I recently spent three days at TechGALA Japan 2026 in Nagoya. The energy across the venues was incredible. It was my first time visiting STATION Ai on the final day, and I was genuinely blown away by its scale.

While there were too many highlights to list, the growing focus on the “Global South” really stood out. I attended two sessions—”The Global South Frontier” and “New Values in the Next Market”. The discussions were remarkably high-resolution; instead of just encouraging investment in growth markets, the speakers shared raw “failure stories” in immature ecosystems, unique local business customs, and how Japanese firms can realistically provide value.

Being based in Singapore and constantly evaluating Asian markets, I found these field-level insights incredibly relatable and thought-provoking.

Looking at the various pitches and exhibits, the underlying strength of Aichi’s “Monozukuri” (manufacturing) was clear. An ecosystem where technology development and implementation sites are this close—especially in Deep Tech and hardware—is a rare and powerful asset.

I also had two great personal highlights:

1. Seeing Taka-san from N9 Pte Ltd / JSIP on stage for the “Entrepreneur Next Wave” session.
2. Reconnecting with Mr. Oda from Slogan. He is a senior from my university, and it was a fantastic surprise to run into him there. We had some very stimulating conversations while catching up.

It was a rewarding three days that let me feel Nagoya’s potential and its global drive firsthand.
